REGULATIONS

BRICS+International Youth Mas-wrestling Tournament 

I. Aims and objectives

International Youth Mas-wrestling Tournament BRICS+ is held among youth from different countries of the world, including foreign students, who studying in a secondary and higher educational institution of the Russian Federation with the aim of determination of strongest athletes.

Tasks:

− international sports networking;

− enhancing the athletic skills of youth and students;

− promotion of physical education and sports.

II. Date and Venue

Competitions are held on March 14-16, in Moscow, Russia, in Sportcomplex of RUDN University named after Patrice Lulumba on address: Mikhluho Maklaya Street, 6.

Arrival day – March 14, 2025, Departure day – March 16, 2025.

Competition schedule

March 14 (Friday) – arrival day

18:00 – 19:00 – meeting of the Ground Jury with team representatives

March 15 (Saturday) – competition day

09:00-10:00 – work of commission on admission and draw of participants

10:00 – 12:30 – preliminary bouts

13:00 – 13:30 – opening

14:00 – 16:00 – semi-final and final bouts

16:00 – 16:30 – awarding

March 16 (Sunday) – departure day.

III. Management 

General management of preparation and holding of competition is carried out by the International Mas-wrestling Federation, World Students League «Mas-Wrestling Universe», RUDN University named after Patrice Lulumba, ANO «World Mas-wrestling Center», SBI of RS(Y) «Republican center of traditional sports named after Vasiliy Manchaary», ANO «Commonwealth of Sports Diplomacy».

Direct responsibility of holding the event carried on the Ground Jury, approved by the International Mas-wrestling Federation.

IV. Participation terms

Allowed to participate athletes under the age of 35 inclusive, passed medical examination and permitted to engage in power sports by the application of the National Mas-wrestling Federations and for students and postgraduates by application of the secondary and higher educational institutions.

Weight categories:

− men: 70 kg, 80 kg, 90 kg, 105 kg, 105+ kg;

− women: 65 kg, 75 kg, 75+ kg.

Participants are required to perform in sportswear in accordance with the rules of the International Mas-wrestling Federation.

V. Conditions for holding competition

The competition is held according to the rules of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation using a direct elimination system after two defeats, divided into groups A and B. Depending on the number of participants in the weight categories in the competition system changes are possible according to the competition rules.

VI. Awarding

Top three athletes in each weight category to be awarded with medals, diplomas of corresponding degrees and memorable presents.

Winners in the weight categories to be awarded with diplomas and cups.

VII. Financing

Costs connected with the preparation and holding of competition – sports hall rental, technical equipment, providing emergency staff, photo and video shooting, payment of the work of referee panel carry the ANO «Commonwealth of Sports Diplomacy» and RUDN University named after Patrice Lulumba.

The costs of referees (travel and accommodation), award and souvenir products also providing uniform for all participants are carry by the International Mas-wrestling Federation.

The costs of sending participants (travel, accommodation, meals, insurance, visa costs) are carry by the sending organizations.

VIII. Applications

To the commission on the admission of participants are submitted documents (original):

− printed team application;

− passport;

− life and health insurance policy against accidents (original);

− student card or gradebook, postgraduates’ certificate.
