Regulation
on holding Open European Mas-Wrestling Championship
among boys and girls 16-17 y.o./2006-2007 y.b.
Aims and objectives
The Open European Mas-Wrestling Championship among boys and girls 16-17 y.o./2006-2007 y.b. is the official sporting event of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation and is held to promote and develop mas-wrestling in the world and solves the following tasks:
- determination the strongest mas-wrestling athletes of Europe among boys and girls (16-17 y.o./2006-2007 y.b.);
- improvement of sportsmanship of athletes;
- strengthening friendly sporting relationship among countries.
Date and venue
The Open European Mas-Wrestling Championship among boys and girls is held on November 23-27 in Brezno, Slovakia, in the municipal sports hall at 977 03 Brezno – Mazornikova, Mladezhnitska 1787/4.
The day of arrival is November 23, the day of departure is November 27, 2023.

November 23 (Thursday) - arrival day
November 24 (Friday)
10.00 – 13.00 – work of the commission for registration and admission of participants;
14.00 – 16.00 – weighing and drawing lots of participants:
- boys 50 kg, 60 kg, 70 kg, 80 kg, 80+ kg;
- girls 50 kg, 60 kg, 70 kg, 70+ kg.
16.30 – 17.30 – meeting of the panel of judges with representatives of the countries.
November 25 (Saturday) – competition day
09.00 – 13.00 – preliminary fights
- boys 50 kg, 60 kg, 70 kg, 80 kg, 80+ kg;
- girls 50 kg, 60 kg, 70 kg, 70+ kg.
14.00 – 15.00 – grand opening of the championship
15.00 – 17.00 - semi-final and final matches
17.00 - 18.30 – award ceremony
November 27 (Monday) – departure day

Management
General management of preparation and holding of tournament is carried out by the International Mas-wrestling Federation, Mas-Wrestling Association of Slovakia, State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) «Republican Center of National Sports named after Vasiliy Manchaary» and Mas-Wrestling Development Fund "Planet Mas-Wrestling".
Direct responsibility of holding the event carried on the Grand Jury, approved by the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.
Participation terms
Allowed to participate athletes of 2006-2007 year of birth, passed medical
examination and permitted to engage in power sports by the application of the National
Mas-wrestling Federations or authorized bodies.
National Federations are entitled to be represented up to 18 (eighteen) athletes,
but no more than 3 (three) athletes in a weight category, the All-Russian Mas-Wrestling Federation – up to 9 (nine) athletes, no more than 1 (one) athletes in a weight category. The Mas-Wrestling Association of Slovakia as the host country is given the right to nominate up to 27 (twenty-seven) athletes, but no more than 4 (four) athletes in a weight category.
National federations are recommended to include in their delegation 1 (one) referee
of the corresponding referee’s category to work as part of the judging panel of the
competition.
Participants are required to perform in sportswear in accordance with the rules of
the International Mas-wrestling Federation.
Conditions for holding competition
Competitions are of a personal-team nature and are held according to the current rules of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.
Depending on the number of participants in the weight categories in the competition system, changes are possible according to the competition rules:
- for 6 or more athletes in the weight category according to the system with elimination after two defeats, divided into groups "A" and "B";
- for 5, 4 or 3 athletes in a weight category, a round robin system is used;
- for 2 or less athletes in a weight category, the weight category is added to the next weight category.
Weight categories:
- boys - up to 50 kg, up to 60 kg, up to 70 kg, up to 80 kg, up to 80+;
- girls - up to 50 kg, up to 60 kg, up to 70 kg, up to 70+ kg.
Participants grant the organizers the right to photograph, film or otherwise use the voice, appearance and name. Further, the content can be displayed, distributed or otherwise used in merchandising and advertising to promote the sport in any media now known and possible in the future. The rights are granted indefinitely and without additional compensation.
The final results (protocols) on paper and electronic form should be given to the International Mas-Wrestling Federation in 2 (two) weeks after the event is over.
Insurance
Participation in the competitions is allowed only in case of presence of the insurance of life and health from accidents (original) for each athlete, which is submitted to the commission for registration and admission of participants.
Insurance fees of the athletes carry the sending organizations.
Safety
Competitions to be held in sport buildings, agreeable to the standards of corresponding standard rules of law, functioning in the territory of Slovakia and directed to provide public order and safety of participants and spectators, in the presence of acts of operational readiness of sports buildings for the activities, approved in the prescribed order.
Qualified medical personnel should present in the competition venue.
Financing
All costs connected with the preparation and holding of competition, under the terms of the equity, carry the International Mas-wrestling Federation, Mas-Wrestling Association of Slovakia, State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) «Republican Center of National Sports named after Vasiliy Manchaary» and Mas-Wrestling Development Fund "Planet Mas-Wrestling".
The costs of sending participants (athletes, representatives, coaches, referees) of the Open European Mas-Wrestling Championship among boys and girls (16-17 y.o./2006-2007 y.b.) 2023 (travel, accommodation, meals, insurance, visa costs) are carry by the sending organizations.
Determination of winners in the team standings:
The team total is displayed by points for the total number of medals:
1st place – 12 points, 2nd place – 8 points, 3rd place – 5 points.
In case of equal points among two or more team, priority is determined by
most number of 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. places.
Awarding
Top three athletes in each weight category to be awarded with diplomas, medals and valuable prizes.
Top three team to be awarded with diplomas and cups.
Applications
Preliminary applications must be submitted by November 1, 2023 to the following addresses:

- Slovak Mas-Wrestling Association: janmatej47@gmail.com , maswrestlingbb@gmail.com.
Applications are submitted to the Commission for registration and admission of participants to competition, signed by the head of the national federation and the doctor, as well as the following documents for each athlete:
− passport, certifying the nationality of the participant or a representing country’s
residence permit;
− life and health insurance policy against accidents (original).
Visa
Delegations, which are needed VISA for entrance and stay on the territory of Slovakia, should send to the organizers in advance a list of participants for visa processing, indicating full names, gender, passport numbers (also their dates of issue and validity), dates of birth, a scanned copy of the first informative page of the passport.
This Regulation is the official challenge to the competition.
