2023 World Mas-Wrestling Absolute Championship (men, women)

REGULATION

on Mas-Wrestling World Championship

in the absolute weight category among men and women

            The championship is held with the aim of developing and popularizing mas-wrestling in the world.

Objectives:

- Strengthening friendly sports relations between countries;

- Determination the strongest athletes in the world.

1. Date, venue and program of competition

The championship is held on April 14-17, 2023, at the Exhibition Centre «Norte»  in São Paulo, Brazil.

Arrival day – April 14, 2023, departure day – April 17, 2023.

General management of preparation and holding of the Championship is carried out by the International Mas-wrestling Federation, Brazil Mas-wrestling Confederation, State budgetary institution of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) «Republican Center of National Sports named after Vasily Manchaary» and Mas-wrestling Development Fund "Planet Mas-Wrestling".

Direct responsibility of holding the event carried on the Grand Jury, approved by the International Mas-wrestling Federation.

3. Participants

The World Championship is held in two categories, for men and women in the absolute weight category. Allowed to participate athletes born in 2005 and older.

Athletes must have:

- Document (medical examination) on the admission of a doctor to power sports;

- Application from the national federation or authorized body.

The National Mas-wrestling Federations are entitled to be represented 2 (two) athletes among men and women. The Brazil Mas-wrestling Confederation as the host country is given the right to nominate 4 (four) athletes at category of women and men.

Participants grant the organizers the right to photograph, film or otherwise use the voice, appearance and name. Further, the content can be displayed, distributed or otherwise used in merchandising and advertising to promote the sport in any media now known and possible in the future. The rights are granted indefinitely and without additional compensation.

4. Conditions for holding competition

Competitions are held in absolute weight category and are personal nature. The Championship is held according to the current rules of the International Mas-wrestling Federation:

The final results (protocols) on paper and electronic form should be given to the International Mas-Wrestling Federation in 2 (two) weeks after the event is over.

5. Insurance

Participation in the competitions is allowed only in case of presence of the insurance of life and health from accidents (original).

Insurance fees of the athletes carry the sending organizations.

6. Awarding

Top three athletes among men and women to be awarded with medals, diplomas, and cash prizes. Participants who took places from 4th to 8th place are awarded with cash prizes.

7. Competition requirements

Competitions to be held in sport buildings, agreeable to the standards of corresponding standard rules of law, functioning in the territory of the Russian Federation and directed to provide public order and safety of participants and spectators, in the presence of acts of operational readiness of sports buildings for the activities, approved in the prescribed order.

Qualified medical personnel should present in the competition venue.

Competitors are required to adhere to the generally accepted norms of social distancing in crowded places and comply with the requirements of the Regulations for the organization and holding of official physical culture and sports events in the Russian Federation in the conditions of continued risks of the spread of COVID-19. Representatives of national teams must provide their athletes with personal protective equipment and disinfectants.

8. Financing

All costs connected with the preparation and holding of the competition, under the terms of the equity, carry the International Mas-wrestling Federation, Brazil Mas-wrestling Confederation, State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) «Republican Center of National Sports named after V. Manchaary», Mas-Wrestling Development Fund "Planet Mas-Wrestling" and National Sports Development Fund of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

Expenses for travel, registration of entry visas, accommodation and meals carry sending organizations.

9. Visa

Delegations, which are needed VISA for entrance and stay on the territory of Brazil, should submit until March 1, 2023 to the organizer for VISA a list of participants with their full name, gender, passport numbers (as well as date of issuance and expiration date), date of birth, scanned copy of the first informative page of their passports.

10. Applications

Preliminary applications with the obligatory indication of the number of athletes, coaches, and representatives are submitted until March 1, 2023 on address:

The application for registration and admission of participants to the competition is submitted by applications signed by the head of the national federation and the doctor, as well as the following documents for each athlete:

- passport, certifying the nationality of the participant or a representing country’s residence permit;

- life and health insurance policy against accidents (original);

- document on vaccination against the new coronavirus infection COVID-19, as required for the organization and conduct of sporting events in Brazil in the face of continuing risks of COVID-19.

11. Marketing and advertising

The Organizing Committee guarantees maintenance of Sponsor rights by the partners and sponsors of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation, appointed in the appropriate Agreements as well as basic principles of marketing of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.

12. Media

The Organizing Committee guarantees accordance of the appropriate conditions of work on the event for accredited media representatives in accordance with the Statement of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation on Mass-Media.

This Regulation is the official challenge to the competition.
