The Turkish stage of the Mas-Wrestling World Cup is already in history
Mas-wrestling competitions in Istanbul were held in a beautifully decorated hall. The fights of the best mas-wrestlers of Europe and Asia received an unprecedented television picture. High-level professionals did the best to show the viewer all the nuances of the exciting meetings of athletes of different weight categories among men and women. The expressive context gave the athletes the right mood and we think that the Turkish audience was not disappointed with what they saw.
If we evaluate the quality of matches, we can clearly see the growth of the skill of new mas-wrestlers. But that was not important today. Once again we realized that we are a family. We met as old friends after a long separation. The pandemic that has swept our planet makes us look at everything differently, we began to appreciate any moment of life, any opportunity to live as before.
We felt good together. Work together on organization, refereeing, and compete. How pleasant it is to watch when an athlete applauds an opponent after a match, paying tribute to his superiority. How a judge fr om Ukraine smiles at a judge from Kyrgyzstan when "changing the guard". And the Pakistani judge feels like his family in Gurjanwala, working on the weigh-in and draw.
The soul of our community Juha-vesa Jantti from Finland trained for two years alone in his small town, dreaming of the arrival of friends from all over the world. But it did not happen. But he arrived in Turkey, took part himself and won nothing. Disappointed. Although he perfectly understands that his gain is our universal respect and love for him for his great spirit.
We were glad to see the Lithuanian strongman, charismatic Antanas Abrutis. It can be seen that he, too, was too late and missed. Despite the not very successful final alignment, he just felt good and warm with us. He remained in the hall for a long time to see the matches of his competitors.
What about Delhi Tamash team? Hungarian athletes are booming! Dushnoki Imre himself is worth something! After a terrible injury to both hands after falling from a height, he returned to the rank of the strongest and fought on equal terms with everyone. Although it is still difficult to believe in it. And young Sandor Darash? It seems that he was crazy about happiness when he snatched the stick out of the hands of Pavel Chernogradsky himself. It's okay that he quickly restored the status quo. The fact remains, and Sandor will be proud of him for the rest of his life.
The Latvian team feasted our eyes. Outwardly calm, but they felt such passion! Their youth will grow up a little more, which is being prepared by Solvita and Arnis Rukmanis.
In contrast to the Balts, the sultry Pakistani athletes amazed everyone with their ever-increasing skill. Their helmsman Nawab Furkan Khan has managed to create an extensive network of sports organizations throughout the country and often hosts interregional competitions. This is the simple secret of wh ere the winners of international top mas-wrestling competitions come from.
Sweet Agnieszka Korishka from Poland arrived accompanied by heavyweight Arthur Malucho. He's so quiet. But his speech was the most eloquent of all words. Everyone saw his strong character!
Yes, words will not be enough to write about all the friends - about the new triumphs of the large team of Kyrgyzstan, about the participation of Georgian friends, about the magnificent Ukrainian team and, of course, about the Slovak team. These days we were united not only by a single form. The feeling that we ourselves are creating our own world, promoting a new sport to the big world, gives us motivation. We analyze our mistakes and change the rules of the game on the fly. We already know each other well enough. Sometimes we swear, but then we put up. Everything is like in a real family. We give each other our souvenirs, wishing to do something pleasant, to bring joy. Yes, there was not enough time for full communication after the competition. But let's not be discouraged. Here are some rest after stressful days and we will prepare for a new meeting. The main thing is that everyone is healthy.

At the closing ceremony, General Secretary of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation Arnold Mokhov and representative of the sponsor organization "Railways of Yakutia" Yulia Ryasnova presented the President of the World Ethnosport Confederation Nejmeddin Bilal Erdogan on behalf of the Senator of the Russian Federation and President of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation Alexander Konstantinovich Akimov a traditional souvenir - a yakut knife.
The Sakha people preserved not only the games of their ancestors, but also the art of forging iron, the secret of which is passed on from father to son. Since ancient times, our people have given knives only to those people whom we trust and know that they will not harm us. It is a symbol of high trust in you and your activities in the development of mas-wrestling. The knife was made by the hereditary blacksmith of Yakutia Saryal Bilyukin. Director of the Republican Center for National Sports named after Vasily Manchaary also presented a memorable souvenir to Mr. Erdogan as a sign of respect and gratitude for such a worthy welcome and excellent organization of international mas-wrestling starts.
A part of the "MAS-FILM Studio" team worked on the site. And this means that there will be cool videos by Viktor Olesov, gorgeous photographs by Heni Borbeli. Maxim Sukhanov provided online on the YouTube channel "MAS-FILM". Thanks to the talented journalist of NBC "Sakha" Aisena Burnasheva not only for the operative reports, but also for the concert number at the opening.
All days we were looked after by activists of the Association of the Yakut business community, culture and solidarity in Istanbul, Turkey. They established their own audience nomination "For the will to win" and presented their gifts to Ekaterina Belolyubskaya and Nurzhanova Kymbat.
See you at the next stage of the Mas-Wrestling World Cup in Russia!
