On changes in the conditions for holding mas-wrestling competitions within the 2024 World Nomad Games

Dear colleagues, on the basis of a letter from the Directorate of the World Nomad Games, we inform you that due to a large-scale crisis due to the flood and a large amount of damage, the Organizing Committee of the 5th World Nomad Games «Astana-2024» was instructed to significantly reduce the amount of financial resources allocated from the state budget of the country for the implementation of the measure.

In this regard, the International Mas-wrestling Federation has been proposed to reduce the weight categories of the competition until to five for men and three for women. In the near future we will inform you about the changes made to the Regulations of the competition. We hope that you will understand our decision to support the people of Kazakhstan.
