Introducing the captain of the Egypt youth mas-wrestling team

The dream of studying in Russia came true in 2022, when he entered the Bashkir State Medical University. Then he saw on the Internet a broadcast fr om the World Mas-wrestling Championship, which took place in Yakutsk. A highly evolved guy immediately liked Yakut mas-wrestling. In September, he signed up for the mas-wrestling section at his university. Having honed his technique with coach Ilgam Ishmukhametov, he took a prize at his first international competitions through the Russian Union of Martial Arts, which greatly inspired him. As the most promising, Ibrahim was included in the national team to participate in the Russian Student Championship in St. Petersburg, wh ere he lost only to the guys fr om Yakutia, and took «bronze».

Feeling his strength and opportunity, Ibrahim began to take part in all possible mas-wrestling tournaments. In Bashkortostan, he quickly became a clear candidate for victory, so he began to travel to other cities.

In 2023 he took part in the Memorial of the Olympic Champion Roman Dmitriev in Moscow, reached the final and took second place. In September 2023, he was invited to the sports program of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. In 2024, he again tried sports happiness at the Roman Dmitriev Memorial Tournament. Taking the third place, did not put his hands down, on the contrary, began to do even harder. And literally the other day he became the owner of a gold medal, defeating experienced and formidable rivals. The most important achievement of Ibrahim is the bronze medal of the 2024 World Cup in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

His idol is the Yakut mas-wrestler Pavel Chernogradsky, a four-time world champion in his weight category. Wishing him victory at the Russian Championship qualifying tournament, so that we can meet him this year on the World Championship podium in Mongolia, wh ere he will represent Egypt.  His main dream is to become a qualified surgeon and a world champion in mas-wrestling. Both goals are achievable.

Young, ambitious, very friendly and communicative Ibrahim Mohamed will bring his country's national team to the BRICS+ tournament in Moscow as its captain. Fair winds!
