Athletes from Mongolia arrived in Yakutsk for Mas-Wrestling World Championship

Batbaatar Erdenevaanchig, president of the Mongolian mas-wrestling federation, told the YSIA correspondent that team Mongolia is participating in the World Championship for the third time. He mentioned, that the Mongolian team trained hard in the high mountains and intends to show high results.

“In the first world championship, we won two bronzes, and in the second, unfortunately, we failed to win medals. But this time, I think, we have prepared enough, since our team has been training hard in the highlands for the last six weeks. Now all the athletes are feeling well and they intend to attend several training camps in Yakutsk two days before the competition ” -said Batbaatar Erdenevanchig.

Note that the Mongolian delegation arrived with nine athletes: three women and six men. Participants are also accompanied by a doctor, a coach and one representative. Five athletes will perform in Yakutia for the first time. We remind that the 3rd Mas-Wrestling World Championship will be held in Yakutsk on November 24-25.
