On Sunday, December 18 one of the largest cities of our country took II Mas-Wrestling Absolute Championship of Ukraine. Kharkov has been famous for its industrial strength, culture, as well as great sports potential. And the appearance of friends and mas-wrestling fans  in this city - one more step in the development of this sport in Ukraine.

MAS Wrestling returns to the Arnold Sports Festival for a third year and will again host the 2017 IMWF World Absolute Championship.  The event will take place at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, March 3-5, 2017 on the ROGUE Strength Stage at the Arnold Fitness EXPO.

From 12 to 15 August 2017 in the Ulyanovsk region on behalf of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin with the support of the Ministry of sport and the Interstate Fund for humanitarian cooperation of States – participants of the CIS will be one of the biggest sporting events – the Festival of national sports and games of the States – participants of CIS.

Sure, flinging kegs, flipping tires, and hauling Atlas Stones all come with their own well-deserved glory, but if you really want to know who’s stronger than whom, what really compares to fighting over a stick?

Nie minęły nawet dwa miesiące, odkąd informowaliśmy o sukcesie Klaudii Wieczorek na zawodach kulturystycznych Miss Bikini Fitness (debiut zakończony od razu III miejscem), a nasza studentka znów dostarczyła kibicom okazji do radości i kolejnych gratulacji!

Klaudia Wieczorek z Biskupic została brązową medalistką Mistrzostw Świata w mas wrestlingu. Medal wywalczyła w dalekim Kirgistanie.

Szeptember 3-4-én került megrendezésre Kirgizisztánban, Cholpon-Ata városában a II. Mas-Wrestling World Championship (Bothúzó világbajnokság), a World Nomad Games keretében.

Three Georgian athletes have earned medals in the World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan. As of September 7, that placed Georgia as the 6th highest medal earner in the games.

O krásně prosluněné sobotě 27. srpna jsme pořádali pod záštitou potravinářské firmy JIP a.s. mezinárodní závod v silovém přetahování (mas-wrestlingu) na břehu Vltavy v areálu loděnice KVS Praha. Silové přetahování jsme přiblížili lidem různého věku a zájmu. Na lavici, jenž pro ně byla extra vyhrazena, pořádali vlastní závod. No, neměli jsme šanci se jim vyrovnat v počtu, protože nás bylo poskrovnu, ale výkony byli naši závodnici napřed.

BROKEN ARROW - It isn't an Olympic sport, not yet anyway. But there are a couple of athletes from Broken Arrow who will head to the MAS Wrestling World Championship next month.

Česká republika získala zásluhou momentální jedničky reprezentačního týmu Mykhayla Krasilynetse první medaili na Mistrovství Evropy v mas-wrestlingu (silovém přetahování), které se letos konalo 23. - 24. července v gruzínském městě Batumi.

Pirmajame oficialiame Europos lazdos traukimo (mas-reslingo) čempionate startavęs vienintelis lietuvis – mažeikiškis Antanas Abrutis – iškovojo trečiosios vietos apdovanojimą.
